American Pharmacists Month (APhM) is a time to recognize pharmacists’ contributions to health care and all they can do for their communities. That’s why, throughout October, APhM champions, partners, and advocates will help bring awareness to the many ways pharmacists provide care using a central message that pharmacists are Easy to Reach and Ready to Help.
APhM is sponsored by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), the largest association of pharmacists in the United States. APhA empowers its more than 62,000 practicing pharmacist, pharmaceutical scientist, student pharmacist, and pharmacy technician members to improve medication use and advance patient care through information, education, and advocacy. APhA recognizes that pharmacists are essential in all patient care settings for optimal medication use that improves health, wellness, and quality of life.
