2017 marks the 125th anniversary of the osteopathic medical field!

You may be wondering, “What is a DO?” There are two types of fully licensed physicians in the U.S. – MDs and DOs. Their training and education are very similar and equally rigorous, but DOs come at the practice of medicine from a different philosophy. They also tend to partner with their patients to help them get healthy and stay well.

Here’s a salute to all our osteopathic friends at the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME), the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine, ATSU Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, ATSU Mesa College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine, the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine – Georgia Campus, the University of Pikeville Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, and the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine!
