11:30 AM – 12:30 PM
Room 221A

Abstract: A hands-on demonstration and lecture on innovative Artificial Intelligence driven solutions for tracking student performance, mapping curriculum to discipline specific competencies, and automating curriculum credentialing. Real world examples of the power of machine learning to automate student performance dashboards that merge with your existing larger learning management systems such as Blackboard, Canvas and other assessment tools such as ExamSoft. Harvest curriculum and performance assessment data across multiple subsystems, including active simulation-based practice (such as A/V), and clinical direct observations. Automate data mapping against core competency measurements such as Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs), Body Systems, or Skills. Sort data by student, cohort, phase, semester, or block. Leverage existing data to create a machine learning-driven proactive monitoring system for learner performance, create learner remediation plans, and review individualized learner “fingerprints” of competency mastery across all educational groups and disciplines.
