Sponsored by the Society of Pediatric Nurses (SPN), Pediatric Nurses Week (October 1-5) celebrates the practice of nurses dedicated to promoting the optimal health of children and providing excellence in nursing care of children and their families. Pediatric Nurses Week calls attention the critical work that pediatric nurses provide to improve healthcare delivery, and is a time to reflect on the contributions pediatric nurses make to patients, families, and communities.
SPN is the premier pediatric society, representing over 3300 pediatric nurses and 28 specializations. SPN strives to support nurses in their practice by providing educational resources, news in pediatric trends, and opportunities to network with nurses around the country.
