The Fourth Annual International SimChallenge took place last weekend at the Society in Europe for Simulation Applied to Medicine (SESAM) Annual Meeting in Paris. Medical students from Poland, Portugal, the Netherlands, China, France, and the USA formed teams to compete in challenging simulated clinical scenarios.

Interfacing with both high-fidelity human patient simulators and standardized patients (SPs), the teams recorded the patient’s medical history, performed a full physical examination, and introduced an appropriate course of treatment. A panel of international judges evaluated them on communication, leadership, teamwork, and crisis resource management.

This was EMS’ third year recording the excitement with our SIMULATIONiQ Mobile solution.
