This presentation provides an overview of common biases that can affect SP scoring and demonstrates a process for identifying and remediating such biases in SP, helping educators:

  1. Define sources of psychometric scoring bias
  2. Define implicit and explicit bias, and
  3. Conduct a non-judgmental process with SPs to educate them about common scoring biases, and help them to identify how the biases may potentially adversely affect their scoring
