Virtual OSCE - The Future of the Standardized Exam

​​​A live discussion of the evolution of the OSCE exam during Covid-19 featuring a look at a fully Virtualized OSCE workflow. In-depth examination of key challenges and solutions for remote proctoring, with a focus on student engagement and secure evaluations in fully remote exam environments. Additional segments detailing the best practices for integrating the physical exam within the SIMULATIONiQ Virtual OSCE environment, plus instructor and virtual SP training, management and scheduling.

Objectives:
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand how virtual environments can be leveraged to meet mandatory OSCE requirements

Pandemic Preparedness - Scaling Clinical Based Diagnostic Training to Combat Emerging Health Threats

Examination of the rapid development and fielding of new virtual clinical decision-making tools to provide just in time training for hundreds of thousands of clinicians during Covid-19. Taking a page from the lessons learned on national preparedness during 9/11 and Covid-19, a discussion of the future of virtual simulation training to rapidly develop and field standardized training to combat emerging global epidemiology threats.

  4. Describe how healthcare simulation can be a key element in global pandemic response
